April – Peter Callahan and Breathing
Happy April. Lots of mindfulness stuff this month. Did you enjoy our time with Peter from the Fresh Perspectives and Copper Beach. HOMEWORK Watch the with Peter video, and go through the meditation Block time in your calendar for you. Peter suggested the greatest minds in the world only worked in short blocks 50 or so minutes working and then 15-17 minutes off. Try it. Don’t grind for hours and feel depleted. Work and honor you with a break. That could be a meal, a walk, a mediation, a nap, a book – anything but deep intense grinding work that may drain you. Forgive yourself. Newsflash – everyone has an epic zoom fail, everyone needs a haircut, everyone has worked days in their PJs, everyone is in the same boat – but there are others who have it far worse than you do. Forgive yourself, know that it’s OK. Stop watching the news 24/7. Not much to be said about that. Just stop. It serves you no purpose. Do watch/read uplifting content. Have you seen SGN yet? OMG – if you haven’t – do it. Some Good News with John Krasinski is one of the best things out of COVID 19.
