How does it work?  Once you determine what your website needs are – how many pages, email set up, calendar connection, etc. – you simply add your options to your cart and checkout. Don’t worry – you can always add the extras later too. 🙂

Next, we’ll send you an email with a link to our Website Design Intake Form so we can learn more about you and your business. You’ll also get a link to Cindy’s calendar so you can schedule a time to go over your Intake Form so we can address any questions or concerns.

We’ll make sure you choose the right WordPress website options for your needs.

We’re so glad you asked! Here’s what’s included in your new WordPress website:

Website Template– Chosen from our portfolio library (you can choose any design for your business – not just from the ones in your industry)

Template Customization – Customize with your brand colors, logo, and photos – no two websites are ever the same!

Photo Resizing – Send us your photos and we will take care of the rest.  OR, we can choose stock photos for you for a reasonable fee.

Website Copy Editing – You provide us with the rough website copy and your bio and using our Website Design Intake Form with the information about your business, products/services, etc., we wordsmith and edit your copy to make it engaging and SEO friendly so that it converts.

Social Media Connections – We can link your social media pages directly to your website so your visitors can easily find you and follow you.

Search Engine Optimization – We handle your SEO so it includes your keywords to draw traffic and customers to your website.

Website FAQs

  1. How much are your cheap websites?

    We offer several different cheap website package options all built on the WordPress platform: A simple 1 page, 4 pages, 5 pages, 10 pages, and we offer custom options. Pricing starts at $499 and up. You can view all our website options here: Shop Red Barn Websites

  2. Do you offer business email options?

    Yes we do! We can set up and create as many emails as you need for your business all at your custom domain. Ex: We charge $5 per month per email. Billing starts typically once your website is live.

  3. I don't have a website URL/domain yet, how do I get one?

    If you haven’t already bought and secured your website URL or domain, you can use websites like to search and see what is available for purchase. If you are stuck between a few options, we are happy to offer our 2 cents. Client is responsible for purchasing and keeping the domain in good payment standing.

  4. Does Red Barn offer hosting and maintenance?

    Yes, of course we do! We also offer website hosting and maintenance contracts that start as low as $50 per month. That includes the hosting fees and 1/2 hour of routine WordPress maintenance to keep your website running smoothly.

    Additional maintenance hours can be purchased that could cover website changes like adding new pictures, changing or adding copy, adding new pages, or posting blogs.

    Billing is done monthly and begins once the website goes live.

  5. What if I don't want to host my website elsewhere - is it locked with Red Barn?

    Nope. The WordPress cheap and affordable website we create can easily be hosted by someone else if you choose. Even if you initially have Red Barn host it, you can move it at any time to someone else and your website look and functionality should not change. We do NOT lock your website to our hosting server.

  6. What do I do if I don't have my own photos to use?

    We always suggest using at least some “real” photos that you have. You have a few options:

    • Take some yourself and see how they work
    • Hire a photographer to take some photos
    • Source some stock photos yourself online – there are a bunch of websites we can suggest
    • Ask Red Barn to source photos at an additional cost

    Customer is responsible for any fees associated with obtaining or purchasing photos.

  7. Will I have access to make changes to my website myself?

    Of course, the website it yours and you will have your own log in. If you aren’t familiar with WordPress and making changes, you may want to learn the basics first. While WordPress is fairly simple to use, there is still a lot of formatting and design that could get messed up if you don’t know what you are doing.

  8. Can you connect some of my third party marketing tools like my calendar app or my CRM/email management system?

    We sure can. As a standard add on we offer connection to 3rd party calendar tools like Calendly or ScheduleOnce.

    We can also connect your email management system, like Infusionsoft/Keap, ActiveCampaign, Drip, etc. to your website and add your choose of a newsletter sign up form, landing page, or pop-up.

  9. Will my website be mobile responsive or ADA compliant?

    All of our websites are mobile responsive so they look great no matter where your visitors are viewing them from.

    Some industries are also required to meet certain standards set by the Department of Justice In September of 2010, the DOJ published the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design. These standards state that all electronic and information technology must be accessible to people with disabilities in certain industries. We are well versed in these requirements and should your website require ADA compliance, we can accommodate your needs.

This is a great option for people who have a specific product/product line or who market to just one industry where all your offerings can be on one page. We create a four page professional website that includes your  Home, About, Services/Products, and Contact page. Each page will share specific details about your business and your offering.

The Standard

This includes everything from our Four Page Website but with the addition of a blog page. Your blog is a great place to share your expertise, experience, advice, and wisdom with the world so you are shown as an expert in your field – it’s also great for SEO. Don’t worry, we add your first blog post and also include a how-to video on updating your blog page to add future posts.
