[ThursdayClub] My hopes for you…

Merry Christmas – time to wake up, pop the cork on that Prosecco, and find out what Santa brought – well if you are a celebrator and a believer that is.  If not – happy Friday!  It’s the last Thursday Club email of 2020.  I started this little project about a year ago – and I’m so glad I did.  It’s been so incredibly rewarding, fun, insightful, and has pushed me to be a better person.  So Thank YOU for being part of my journey!

As I sit here sipping coffee with the grand dogs, waiting for my son and his girlfriend to get up – they aren’t 4am’ers by any stretch of the imagination – I’m thinking about what 2021 will bring.

Of course – there’s no way to predict what will happen 2 seconds from now, nevermind a year from now, but I’m a dreamer.

Here are my hopes for you…

You learn to just be.  Embrace the moment, not worry about the past, not obsess over the future but just enjoy the moment you are in.

You learn to love you.  Stop feeling guilty, stop feeling shame, stop the self-loathing and love you for all you are.  Self-forgiveness is a beautiful thing.

You stop asking permission for your dreams.  Dream away – the sky is the limit!  Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.  Your dreams are yours, no need to apologize for their craziness.

You learn to be a bit selfish.  Not in a bad way – but in a good self-care kind of way.  Be protective of YOU and get rid of the shit that doesn’t serve you and that includes people.

You remember that nothing lasts forever – both good and bad.  Accept it and move on.

You start being more resourceful versus looking for resources.  No one can make those dreams come true besides you – don’t forget it.  Dig deep, find the grit and hustle.

You learn that you have no control over what is tossed at you, but you 100% have control over how you react to every single situation in life.  Every one…EVERY ONE!

You learn the art of mindfulness.  What you think…you become.  Your brain listens to what you say – learn to watch your words.  Find the sunshine in every cloud.

You learn the magic of paying it forward and being kind.  When you do good things…good things come back.  It’s called karma and I so so so believe in it.

See you on the flip side – 2021 is going to be awesome, don’t you agree?

Happiest of holidays and big love,

 Cindy
