As I write this, I’m sitting here in my RV looking out at the amazing winter wonderland in Connecticut. I’m one of those people who actually LOVES winter and the fluffy white stuff – I do indeed get quite a few sneers from Florida loving snowbirds – but I’m sticking to my happy thoughts of snowshoeing, winter hiking, skiing, and making snow angels!
On to today’s musings…
Yesterday I went live and talked through the My Three Words process a bit deeper – I finished my homework– how about you?If you haven’t watched the video – you can grab the replay HERE.This process is so powerful, I encourage you to spend some deep time working on it – you won’t regret it, I promise!
It’s time to get Uncomfortable
When I began working with my new coach a few months back I knew I had to work on a few tough things that have been holding me back.It wasn’t going to be easy BUT if I wanted to get unstuck and move beyond where I was, I had to do the work and that meant getting a bit uncomfortable.
Change, even for someone like me who embraces new things and opportunities, isn’t always easy.In fact, some people – maybe you – equate change to getting a root canal sans the Novocain.
You know the saying – if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you always got? Well – that’s the hard stuff I’m talking about.
So, this is it, the end of a pretty shitty year for all intents and purposes. It’s been hard and one thing after another has slammed us. We’ve had to adjust, pivot, and survive – and it hasn’t been easy for anyone. As I’ve reminded you over the past months, you can’t control what happens around you, but you can 100% control how you react to any situation. Trust me – 2020 has tested us all.
2021 is just weeks away. A new start. A new dawn…and a new path if you choose to take it.
Get uncomfortable.
It’s time to find your voice (one of my three words) – and embrace all that is you. Every ounce of your being.Stop letting people drive the course of your life – take control and grab the steering wheel because you are about to go on a road trip of a lifetime!
There is no better time than today. We’ve got this – you and me.I’m on the path with you – the path to that happy place that is our reality, not just a dream.
Have an awesome day – and if you are in the northeast, enjoy that snow!Looks like we may just have a white Christmas after all!Woohoo – hopping on Amazon Prime Music and getting me some Michael Buble Christmas tunes and headed to my son and girlfriend’s kitchen to bake a few more cookies – well a lot more cookies…Tis the season!Ho! Ho! Ho!
Cheers!
