[THURSDAYCLUB] Be SHAMELESS

Good morning!

Yesterday in our Facebook Group I went live and shared a humbling experience I had with my coach.  Grab the replay HERE if you missed it.

My personal “to do” for my coach this week is to be shameless in my “self-promotion”.  That simply means, be FAR more comfortable sharing what I’m exceptionally good at – and we all have those superpowers so don’t even shake your head and say you don’t have any, because you do.

This is a perfect tie in to wrap up our month of working on Confidence and Resiliency.

Here’s the exercise:

Have you ever been complimented?  Of course – we all have at some point in our lives!  What have you been told repeatedly?

For me, I’ve been told Over and Over and OVER again that I’m inspirational, motivational and I am great at assessing a situation, taking charge, and getting shit done – I move the troops in the right direction.  I don’t overthink, I’m decisive, and am a super action taker.  No resting on these laurels.

Yet…I rarely just come out in public and say UP FRONT – this is what I’m great at, in fact, I’m one of the best and this is why you should hire me, join my mission – or whatever it is.

GULP!

Yep – I was smacked upside the head and told “Get a grip, Cindy” – seriously don’t WAIT for others to compliment you, compliment your damn self!

Your homework this week is to:

  1. Go back and identify your superpowers – what are you told over and over again that you are awesomesauce at?
  2. Come out of the damn closet and say it – it’s not boasting, it’s truthful.  Stand up, be confident, sincere, and authentic.
  3. Write in your journal how you FEEL after you do it.
  4. Don’t stop – this is how you will next level your life in so many ways.  I’ve dabbled in self-promotion, but not to this level.  I’m here with you – so let’s go.

Go get em!

PS – new Content drops April 1 – be on the lookout.  AND yes, we are still working on the re-design of the back end of the membership area.  I want it to be fab, so I’m being intentional with the thought process.
