[THURSDAY CLUB] Planning with Purpose
This month on the Inside we are focusing on creating our THREE WORDS – if you haven’t checked out what we are plotting and planning – read it HERE.
I don’t want you to do the exercise of “My Three Words” without doing a lot of deep thinking because the exercise is meant to be incredibly deep and intentional. Everything we do here is connected and is meant to build upon each other – so none of it is one and done. Each month it’s about tackling a new personal development “project” and angle to help you grow personally and in your career. I like to call it – Planning with Purpose. At some point in my life – I realized that I can and WILL have everything I want if I want it badly enough and I’m willing to put in the effort to get there. Success, material items, relationships, career goals – the list is endless. The effort is in your mindset. “My Three Words” sets the tone for my year. I spend the month of December working on it – yes, I take that long. And yes, I look at those words a LOT throughout the year as they remind me of the work I put in the previous December. I haven’t decided on what 2021’s words will be. If you read my email yesterday, you’ll know I’m in this limbo land of what I want next year to look like. Here’s my thought process – hopefully it will help you create your Plan with Purpose. 1. On December 31, 2021 – how do I want to feel when I reflect back on my year. What personal goals do I want to have accomplished? I’m not talking about resolutions like losing weight or being nicer to people. I’m talking more on the lines of Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love type feeling. Spiritual and Emotional. 2. Where will I be on my Cindy 2.0 Journey – as in what’s next for me? I don’t have this clearly defined – that’s part of what I’m working on. 3. What do I want my business life and my personal life to look like as far as relationships and growth? |
When I can be clearer on these questions, My Three Words will come to me. I’ve been doing this exercise for several years – and it’s one of my favorites.
If you commit to this exercise – you’ll find it incredibly rewarding.
Keep me posted! I’ll be “releasing” my revelations in the next couple of weeks in my Thursday Email…stay tuned!!
