[ThursdayClub] Taking Action
Happy Friday,
I posted this on my personal FB page the other day – and I want to share here with you in case you didn’t see it:
Today I want to talk about being HAPPY and FULFILLED and how I can help you get there.
THE BIG THREE QUESTIONS you really should answer:
- How will you feel in 6 months, a year, or 5 years… if you’re still doing exactly what you’re doing now?
- Can you picture in your mind what a happier healthier you looks like?
- What are three things you can do right now to get you closer to that new you?
Change begins with choice. That Choice begins with YOU.
You MUST take ACTION
Dave and I had on our Bucket List to sell our house by his 50th birthday – July 24, 2019. We wanted to be full-time RVers on that day.
We put that on our bucket list in 2015.
On 7/14/2019 we moved out of our house and became full-time RVers – on 7/24/2020 we closed on our house. The new owners needed to move in early.
This happened because we MADE it happen.
I kind of get annoyed when people say we are lucky. We are BLESSED – but luck had nothing to do with it.
We put that GOAL on our Bucket List.
We created a ROAD MAP of what we needed to do in order to make our BUCKET LIST Item come to fruition.
HOW TO “CHECK” OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST ITEMS:
- Put it on the damn list – go back and read the blog post in the Insiders area.
- Decide WHEN you want to do whatever it is on your list. Be Specific!
- Create a List of the steps you need to take in order to get there – again be Specific.
- Put some deadlines around those steps – to ensure you get them done. Put them in your planner/calendar.
- What tools or support do you need to get there? Are you trying to lose weight – do you need a trainer? A gym? Meal plans? Etc.?
- Ensure you have the proper MINDSET.
MINDSET – #6 is the most important part of this.
Some of the things on your bucket list will require times that are difficult.
Instead of saying I HAVE to do something – say I GET to do it.
Be grateful for what you have versus what you do not.
Lastly – enjoy the journey!!
When we were purging everything in our house it got overwhelming at times. I had to step back and remind myself that I GET to do this – and when it’s done I GET to travel around the country in my RV exploring all those fabulous nooks and crannies along the way.
And THIS is why I love Bucket Lists!! Go get em!
